John – Owner/Head Artist
Started the company in November 2010

Before John was a DESIGNER…he was an ARTIST.  Art has always been a big part of John’s life. It’s always been a personal passion and hobby of his. As a child he spent weekends and free time drawing and painting. During his high school years, he focused heavily on his art and craft taking as many art classes as he could and entering different art competitions. John eventually won a full tuition scholarship to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale which was awarded to just (1) participant in the entire state of Florida. With the enrollment to art school, he studied Industrial Design and in just 3 short years he earned a Bachelors Degree and was awarded Best Portfolio in his graduating class. John was also inducted in the to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale’s Alumni for excelling in his program.

During this time John never lost focus on his art and he spent many years painting murals for both commercial and residential in addition to attending school and work.

In 2000 John began his career as a professional product designer. He was immediately hired after graduation by a company in South Florida which focused on designing cases and carry solutions for many products. After a few years, he moved to the Treasure Coast and was hired for the lead 3D modeling position for a renowned Yacht design firm in Stuart Florida. He spent several years designing, 3D modeling and illustrating custom sport fish yachts.

In 2010 he started his company, JH Design Unlimited. He built a brand in which he can use all of his schooling and years of experience in design and software knowledge to create a One-Stop Design Shop, a place where he could combine all of his unique skills. He assembled a team of artists and designers that shared his passion. This passion is what drives JH Design today and can be seen through its quality work and satisfied customers.

Scott – Web Designer
Joined the team in August 2013

At 4 years old, Scott’s passion for art and creativity began with a ceramic dog and 4 tubs of paint. That sparked a curiosity and interest in art that has only grown over time. Through cartoons and comics to a wide variety of art in all forms, his interest grew as he learned to express himself with a pencil and paper, inspired by great comic artists and cartoonists, and later a love for the works of Rembrandt, Da Vinci, Mondrian, Klimt, and many others.

Scott’s love for art turned to a passion for graphic design and commercial art in college. Learning to be creative within the boundaries set by a project brief or a client’s ideas was a unique challenge that he happily jumped into. In 2001, he was offered an opportunity to take a full-time position as a web designer and developer. The only problem, he knew nothing about how websites worked. With a “Teach Yourself HTML” book and 5 days to prove he could do it, Scott learned what HTML stood for and rebuilt the corporate website; securing not only a job but a new passion and career.

Since then, Scott has continued to grow as a graphic designer and website developer, working with clients all over the country, in a wide variety of fields. Along the way, he has won 10 American Advertising Federation (ADDY) Awards for creative work. He loves the challenge of discovering what a client needs and building a website or application that meets those needs and accomplishes their goals.

Scott still draws and doodles every day, and is pursuing new creative avenues including painting, writing, and photography.

Daniel – Graphic Designer / Web Developer
Joined the team in April 2015

Daniel has always been a creative individual and has expressed that creativity through many mediums. He’s been using that creativity in graphic and web development for nine years. His initial experience with design and code was at the age of fourteen when he learned how to create Myspace layouts. He has since continued to refine and sharpen his skills.

As Daniel learned, he grew more fond of design and progressed into designing everything from logos and business cards to t-shirts and brochures. Though he enjoyed design, Daniel loved pushing his creative problem-solving skills by building and coding websites. As a result, he has become proficient in such computer languages as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and the web platform WordPress.

Along the way, Daniel began to expand his area of expertise into other fields such as SEO and marketing. His goal in doing so was to have the skills necessary to provide clients not with just a great website, but also an effective web presence. When Daniel steps away from the computer he enjoys expressing his creativity through dance and a variety of physical movement activities.
